Lead and execute product compliance activities for assigned products, ensuring alignment with global market requirements
Ensure conformity with international regulatory frameworks, including: CE Marking (EU), FCC (USA), ISED (Canada), UL/CSA/IEC safety standards, ABYC guidelines, and ISO marine standards
Coordinate testing and certification with third-party labs and notified bodies, and certification agencies
Interpret and monitor evolving international regulations, evaluating impacts on current and future products
Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements throughout product development
Prepare, review, and maintain product compliance documentation, including Technical Construction Files (TCFs), declarations, labeling specifications, and certification dossiers
Provide regulatory guidance, documentation support, and internal training on compliance topics
Participate in regulatory and internal audits
Support investigations related to compliance issues, field returns, or safety concerns, contributing to corrective and preventive actions
Support additional product categories as business needs evolve
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in product compliance, certification, testing, or regulatory engineering
Familiarity with marine and/or RV regulatory environments and use cases
Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks
Knowledge of CE/EMC/RED/LVD, FCC/ISED, UL/CSA/IEC, and RoHS/REACH frameworks
Excellent communication and technical writing skills in English
Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization
