Field Service Representative

Role Overview

• Support retail partners through store visits, product demos, and sales floor training to drive product knowledge and sales
• Execute merchandising, promotional activations, and seasonal brand initiatives across the territory
• Represent Altra at community events, races, expos, and consumer engagement activities
• Build strong relationships with retail and community partners to increase brand awareness and advocacy
• Partner with Sales Representatives and Field Service teams to deliver effective territory plans, training, and activations
• Gather and share insights on consumer feedback, product performance, competitor activity, and market trends
• Maintain accurate reporting, manage field resources responsibly, and ensure operational excellence
• Achieve territory goals through consistent execution, strong organization, and proactive problem-solving

Requirements

• Familiarity with the Altra product line
• Experience fitting and selling technical footwear
• Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (including Outlook)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to take initiative
• Reliable transportation
• 1+ year of specialty retail experience (run or outdoor specialty preferred)
• 2+ years of marketing, sales, or field service experience
