About this role
Role Overview
Act as a trusted advisor on complex commercial large loss claims, bringing clarity and structure to situations that are often ambiguous, time-sensitive, and high impact.
Interpret loss information from multiple sources—including site observations, documentation, and stakeholder input—to form a clear view of the damage, required work, and associated cost considerations.
Shape early-stage claim direction by helping define practical repair strategies and providing well-reasoned pricing perspectives that support confident, informed decisions.
Apply your expertise across a range of commercial environments, adjusting your approach based on the operational realities and technical nuances of different industries such as builders’ risk, manufacturing, and other specialized sectors.
Work alongside internal teams and customer to test assumptions, challenge inconsistencies, and bring forward insights that improve overall claim outcomes without overcomplicating the process.
Contribute to a strong, consistent approach to large loss management by offering an informed perspective on external reports, helping to enhance quality, clarity, and alignment across all parties involved.
Build effective working relationships with external consultants by engaging in open, professional dialogue that supports shared understanding and continuous improvement.
Provide concise, actionable input at key decision points, helping stakeholders balance cost, scope, and timelines while maintaining a focus on practical and commercially sound solutions.
Ensure timely and effective correspondence, including the review of submitted documents and related system notes.
Deliver exceptional service to customers by maintaining a high standard of professionalism and responsiveness.
