Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and follow up with outbound phone calls and emails
Understanding customer needs and requirements
Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales and Design Professional (SDP) for further development and closure
Work with customers to ensure a smooth sales process
Handle most material only sales and support designated SDP to assist them with their Preferred Partner accounts
Provide backup to the Sales Coordinator and SDPs in their absence
Demonstrate excellent customer services and professionalism
Develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current customers
Lead, manage and assume accountability for assigned sales projects and sales tasks
Maintain and continue to develop sales and design skills and certifications
Support Sales Team in developing, identifying, and cultivating sales opportunities with strategic clients for Structured Cabling Systems, Electronic Security Systems, A/V Systems and Intrusion Detection
Prepare strategic plans regarding daily activities, lead generation, customer contact and structure of calls and appointment and follow-up
Manage leads, deals and contacts in Pref-Tech’s CRM
Prepare proposals and estimates with detailed scopes of work, ensuring clear deliverables, timelines, and cost breakdowns for clients
Facilitate bidding process with estimation/sales team using MS software
Collaborate with Design/Estimation and Sales and Design Professionals
Identify and resolve client needs
In-depth knowledge of products and services that Pref-Tech utilizes
In-depth knowledge of a rapidly changing market that comprises the products and services that Pref-Tech utilizes
Self-starter with a positive outlook and a high level of professionalism
Excellent presentation (development and delivery), verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
Adhere to all HR and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Typing: Net Speed of 35 words per minute
Strong client facing experience
Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
