Serve as a liaison between the Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, various academic units, and other organizations within the University
Responsible for outreach efforts and recruitment of prospective undergraduate and graduate students
Traveling to and from or within assigned recruiting regions
Visiting high school campuses, community colleges, and other affiliated events
Planning, arranging and implementing a personal recruitment schedule
Providing advisement to students and families regarding educational opportunities and options
Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs, special projects and events, and other initiatives geared to recruiting students
Analyzing trends in student recruitment and retention programs
Giving presentations for parent nights in high schools, community colleges, and other public audiences
Assisting with creating and distributing resource and promotional materials
Reviewing individual applications and evaluating candidates for admission eligibility
Troubleshooting problems with applications
Overseeing and/or coordinating & maintaining communications with applicants
Keeping accurate records of recruiting activities and contacts
Assisting with other student service projects and events as requested
Working to achieve yearly assigned recruiting goals

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
1 – 3 years of Related Professional Experience
Related experience, particularly in any customer service or public facing type of position
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
