Role Overview
- Provide Tier 2 support for LAN, WAN, customer networks, Intranet and Internet
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures
- Review user requests for network upgrades or additions
- Apply standard IT skills for Information Management applications
- Ensure systems and applications comply with standards
- Evaluate and recommend COTS applications and methodologies
- Perform analysis and validation of reusable software and hardware components
Requirements
- TSSCI with polygraph is required
- Hands on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and configuration of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, and LDP)
- Must work a shift schedule that includes weekend and holiday work
- 10 years of applicable experience (combination of degree and work history)
