Senior Manager, Payroll Tax and Accounting

Role Overview

• Manage activity and direction of payroll tax and accounting staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and internal controls
• Develop work schedules and monitor workflow
• Provide tax and accounting planning and compliance expertise to management
• Manage/Coordinate payroll tax processes for mergers and acquisitions

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional experience
• 3+ years of supervisory and or management experience
• Experienced in all payroll and payroll tax processes, including federal, state, and local withholding
• Detail oriented and highly analytical
• Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
• Strong accounting and general ledger knowledge required
• Advanced Knowledge of Workday Payroll system
• Payroll tax processing experience required
• Multi-state payroll environment required
• 4-year degree or equivalent
