Consultant, Human Resources

Role Overview

• Provide guidance and direction to managers and employees on matters pertaining to employee relations
• Actively participate in the resolution of conflicts, complaints or problems
• Ensure consistent understanding and delivery of HR policies and programs within the assigned client group
• Support the acquisition and integration process within the assigned client group
• Lead or participate in the review of current human resources management programs and practices
• Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees as part of the deployment and implementation strategy of programs and initiatives
• Facilitate HR programs or cyclical initiatives as required

Requirements

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related area
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience
• CPHR is required (or in progress)
• Experience in developing and delivering HR training programs to a variety of audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Knowledge of the Employment Legislation in Ontario
