About this role
Role Overview
- Perform detailed financial analysis of borrower financial statements, projections, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and repayment capacity.
- Assess industry trends, business models, competitive dynamics, and key risks impacting borrower performance.
- Prepare credit memoranda presenting transaction structure, risk assessment, mitigants, and clear credit recommendations.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews, covenant testing, risk rating updates, and borrower performance assessments.
- Respond to internal and external information requests related to portfolio accounts and credit transactions.
- Produce portfolio monitoring reports, stress tests, risk dashboards, and credit exposure analyses.
- Assist with ad hoc analyses relating to portfolio trends, industry concentrations, and credit quality metrics.
- Maintain data accuracy across credit systems and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 0-1+ years of related financial services work experience
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Competitive drive and high work ethic, self-starter, team-oriented
- Solid interpersonal skills
- High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skills
- Solid understanding of business, finance, and accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
