Responsible for the execution and supervision of all day-to-day accounting functions in the respective country, entity or region.
Coordinate and oversee the monthly close and financial reporting in Oracle and additional reports for U.S. Corporate Accounting, U.S. Tax, and U.S. Treasury.
Preparation/review of account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Preparation of a Balance Sheet review file on a quarterly basis.
Work with the International Project Accounting Manager, Regional Finance Director and Sales and Operations to ensure all revenue and invoicing is recorded completely and accurately for their region.
Assist in cash flow forecasts for Corporate Treasury, as needed.
Support in the coordination, completion, and filing of local statutory audits and tax returns.
Proactive support of the company’s ERP system, training, and improvements.
Understanding and oversight of relevant SOX controls.
Review of local contracts for entities under the Financial Controllers purview.
Management and supervision of the local controllership team members.
Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Accounting degree at a recognized institution.
Qualified in CA or CPA.
5 -10 years post qualifying experience in industrial or B2B environment.
Experience necessary in international accounting, foreign currency translation.
Knowledge of local reporting and tax regulations in international regions.
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP an advantage.
Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office modules.
Oracle experience an advantage, (i.e., financial modules, Discoverer reporting tool).
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to relate to staff at all levels of the organization as well as external customers and suppliers.
