Role Overview
- Evaluation and treatment of impairments including all areas of speech and language
- Executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
- Work one-on-one with patients in their homes and communities
- Create integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills required
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
