Provide legal management, support and advice for clients of Waystone
Contribute to the oversight on the legal developments and lead regulatory projects
Deal with the different legal and governance aspects related to the different functions of Waystone
Provide legal advice to other business areas within Waystone
Identify and propose solutions for mitigating the legal risks within Waystone
Report to senior members of the team on legal activities and identified legal risks
Help to draft, vet and negotiate contracts on various legal matters
Coordinate, oversee and ensure that the Waystone contracts, legal documents and templates are up to date and compliant with the applicable laws and regulations
Undertake directorship mandates for Waystone clients when applicable
Participate into external working groups with the fund associations such as ALFI, LPEA, etc.
Represent and be a brand ambassador of Waystone in external professional events, conferences, etc.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in the fund industry
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior management and boards
Capacity and affinity to work in an international environment
Solution-oriented approach to resolving problems
Master in Law
CCDL
Cours complémentaires en droit luxembourgeois considered a plus
Advanced legal education with relevant Law and/or Finance certifications demonstrating strong expertise in Luxembourg law.
