You analyze customer needs, identify relevant requirements and translate them into a clear product roadmap.
You ensure, in close coordination with all stakeholders, that requirements are understood and prioritize the product backlog according to business value and market needs.
You run continuous product discovery — through structured customer interviews, Jobs-to-be-Done analyses and fast prototyping cycles to eliminate risks early before we build.
You define, prioritize and deliver features that make property management simpler and provide real value.
You manage the entire product lifecycle — from writing user stories through implementation to launching new features.
You are responsible for measurable product goals within your module areas — using data and user feedback to continuously learn and validate product decisions.
You work closely with Engineering and Design to deliver user-friendly, high-performance and legally compliant solutions.
You collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure best practices and compliance requirements are met.
You coordinate with Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to plan, coordinate and track releases.
You analyze key KPIs and user feedback to continuously improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Completed degree (e.g., Business, Computer Science) or equivalent qualification — ideally with further training or experience in accounting/tax.
Several years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a SaaS environment.
Understanding of processes in German property management — either through personal experience as a landlord or through practical work in a property management company.
Familiarity with typical operational workflows: rent posting, dunning and rent management, operating and heating cost accounting (BKA, including heating cost accounting according to HKVO), DATEV interfaces and document management, as well as the relevant legal framework.
Strong analytical skills, structured way of working and a good sense for outstanding user experiences.
Strong communication skills, team orientation and a hands-on mentality.
Confident use of modern PM tools: Product Analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude), Prototyping & Research (e.g., Figma, Google AI Studio), and AI-supported workflows (e.g., Claude Code).
Good sense of design principles and usability — direct design experience is a plus.
Fluent German (C1/C2) and good English skills, both written and spoken.
