Product Manager, Epic Services

Ensemble Health Partners is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems. The Epic Product Manager focuses on understanding business problems and identifying scalable solutions within the Epic platform, collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an expert in Epic functionality, current capabilities, and future roadmap
• Set strategy for Epic upgrades, enhancements, and feature adoption
• Evaluate Epic functionality for applicability and value
• Spend significant time with Operations to understand workflows, challenges, and successes
• Translate business needs into Epic standards and adoption strategies
• Lead discovery to understand underlying problems before defining solutions
• Apply creative problem‑solving and solution‑oriented thinking
• Form clear, prescriptive recommendations with rationale and tradeoffs
• Lead requirements and scoping across Ops, Epic, Innovation, Product, and Data initiatives
• Inform Epic SOMs based on functionality and best practices
• Own development and maintenance of Epic playbooks
• Identify integration needs and opportunities, translating operational requirements into scalable Epic‑aligned integration approaches, including third-party systems
• Educate and partner across Epic Services on Epic standards and functionality
• Partner closely with Partnership Success to support consistent messaging to clients
• Participate in Epic RevCyclers and lead workgroups as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of Epic experience in healthcare operations or an IT environment
• Epic certification(s) in Patient Access, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, or HIM
• Deep Epic functional expertise
• Strong executive‑ready communication skills
• Creative, solution‑oriented problem‑solving mindset
• Experience in product management, solution design, or operational strategy
