Develop a strategic plan for each account; stay informed about developments in their industries, management objectives, and competitors.
Build strong relationships with senior executives at current and prospective Softchoice clients.
Use Salesforce and Softchoice’s sales methodology to consistently and effectively manage accounts, opportunities, and sales forecasts.
Apply industry best practices and Softchoice expertise to identify client issues and assemble the resources needed to develop a software, hardware, and services solution.
Maintain strategic leadership with local manufacturers and channel partners.
Stay up to date on market and product developments and attend product training as required.
Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders and subject-matter resources as needed to meet the client's business objectives.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
Experience in the IT sector is an asset.
Experience interpreting annual reports, financial data, and forecasts.
Strong business acumen and experience managing a pipeline of prospective clients.
Good understanding of solution-selling techniques and of creating value for clients.
Knowledge or experience with the Challenger sales methodology is an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening skills, confident presentation abilities, and the capacity to explain complex solutions clearly.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Salesforce and Office 365 applications.
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and consistently build outstanding relationships.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
