Facilitates and manages day-to-day operations of the department
Supports and ensures that comprehensive patient care services are being provided
Proactively supports efforts for safe patient care and services
Evaluates and works to improve the education process within the unit and system
Collaborates and consults with interdisciplinary teams
Coaches others in clinical decision making
Provides bedside care/support at least 24 hours per month
Maintains current clinical skills and competencies
Develops plans to promote growth and development of leadership skills
Guides staff in maintaining the budget and resource utilization
Executes implementation plans for system and unit changes
Participates in the development and achievement of department goals

2 years of experience in management/administrative
Experience in a healthcare setting
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Arts degree
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Current Georgia license
Excellent communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skills Assessment at 80% or higher within 30 days of employment
