Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. They are seeking an experienced Software Product Marketing Manager to lead product and solutions marketing efforts for HPE Nonstop, focusing on driving awareness and business growth. The role involves collaborating with product management and the external software ecosystem, leading marketing strategies, and acting as a subject matter expert for HPE Nonstop at events and customer engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HPE product management and the external software ecosystem to drive awareness and business growth through product and solutions launches
- Lead cross-functional efforts to support the expansion and acceptance of Nonstop solutions. This includes but is not limited to determining product positioning, building marketing strategies and execution plans, writing product marketing deliverables, developing and delivering marketing and sales support materials, and identifying and capitalizing on market trends, particularly for organizations requiring always-on, mission critical workloads
- Collaborate with campaigns and digital teams to plan and execute awareness, familiarity and intent activities within the HPE one campaign structure
- Act as a subject matter expert for HPE Nonstop at events and customer engagements
- Participate in the development of HPE Nonstop software and systems positioning, messaging, and differentiation
- Develop and maintain clear value propositions that articulate availability, scalability, security, compliance, and total cost of ownership
- Create marketing programs supporting the business across sales, marketing ecosystem and product management
- Guiding 360-degree marketing planning and updates
- Translate complex technical capabilities into customer-focused narratives aligned to business outcomes
- Researching and writing timely product marketing content including family guides, solution briefs, training and customer presentations, competitive compares, infographics, product and social videos, blogs and articles, white papers and other deliverables
- Work with other teams to publish, train teams on, and promote deliverables
- Lead solution launches and software releases, including messaging frameworks, launch plans, and field enablement
- Partner with product management and engineering to incorporate market insight, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback
- Equip sales, partners, and solution architects with high-impact materials: pitch decks, battlecards, FAQs, solution briefs, and customer success stories
- Train internal teams to confidently articulate Nonstop software value in competitive environments
- Develop deep understanding of target industries, buyer personas, and customer pain points for mission-critical systems
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging technologies impacting high-availability and transaction processing platforms
- Gather and synthesize customer insights to refine messaging
- Drive thought leadership content including white papers, blogs, case studies, webinars, and executive presentations
- Collaborate with communications and events teams to support industry forums, customer events, and executive briefings
- Represent product marketing in cross-functional initiatives tied to hybrid IT and cloud integration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Marketing or Business majors preferred
- 5-7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in enterprise software or platforms
- Proven experience launching and supporting software products and solutions
- Strong ability to translate deeply technical concepts into clear, compelling business value
- Experience working closely with product management, engineering, and enterprise sales teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
