Senior Software Engineer, Guest & Host (Listing)

Airbnb is a global platform that connects hosts and guests, and they are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Listing Backend Onboarding and Management team. This role involves collaboration with various teams to implement backend functionality that supports hosts in managing their stays and experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with the Client Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams to align on product requirements
• Driving the scoping, technical requirements, design, implementation, and operation of new functionality
• Building high-quality, re-usable backend components
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers in the team or in related teams

Requirements:

• 6+ years industry experience
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
• Experience in building high-quality, consumer-facing products
• Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems
• Ability to drive alignment, manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Experiences mentoring junior engineers
