- Own your squad's roadmap, prioritizing initiatives aligned with overall product strategy
- Partner closely with your squad's engineering manager and engineers to determine scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs, grounding tactical decisions in technical reality
- Balance near-term stability and resilience with longer-term platform investments, making intentional focus decisions over time
- Apply strong scope definition & discipline, breaking large or cross-cutting efforts into incremental, achievable slices with clear goals and success criteria
- Identify friction points and opportunities across the organization where platform investments can unlock speed, quality, and consistency
- Ensure platform solutions are intuitive, well-documented, and broadly adopted by the teams that rely on them
- Align platform priorities across the Technology organization, ensuring work supports both near-term product needs and long-term architecture
- Communicate platform priorities and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders both in and out of the Technology team, and effectively articulate the impact for broader audiences
- Define and evolve platform capabilities that enable teams to build and operate AI-powered product experiences safely, reliably, and at scale, with appropriate guardrails for privacy, compliance, and trust
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally working on platform, infrastructure-adjacent, or internal product areas in a technology-driven organization
- Strong technical fluency and the ability to understand complex systems and architectural tradeoffs, with experience working closely with engineers
- Demonstrated ability to define clear scope and success criteria for complex or cross-cutting work
- Comfort operating in environments where priorities evolve due to operational needs, incidents, or external commitments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and executive leaders
- Experience partnering across multiple teams and functions (ex: Security, IT, Legal, partner product teams) to deliver shared capabilities that serve diverse stakeholders
- A product mindset focused on usability, adoption, and impact, even when building internal or foundational systems
- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to lead through influence
- Familiarity with security, privacy, or compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, or FERPA is a bonus, not a requirement
- Experience working on or adjacent to AI powered systems, or demonstrated curiosity about how AI technologies impact platform design, operations, and product development
