Yelp is seeking a results-driven Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead the transformation of their lifecycle program for restaurant solutions. The role involves planning, building, and executing marketing campaigns to promote a multi-product portfolio, focusing on customer engagement and acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the end-to-end strategy and execution for lifecycle marketing campaigns from strategy to building to reporting, analysis, and optimization to drive aggressive acquisition for Restaurants’ products
- Manage the entire customer journey, moving beyond simple acquisition to drive retention, upsell, and advocacy, treating lifecycle marketing as a product extension that drives 'North Star' metrics
- Be hands-on in our marketing automation platform (Salesforce Pardot) to set up email and push campaigns to educate, engage, and convert prospects across all restaurant segments (SMB, Mid-market, and Enterprise)
- Partner with Marketing Ops and other Yelp LCM managers to inject Yelp Host messaging into every possible touchpoint across the entire company
- Plan, design, and execute high-tempo lifecycle marketing tests (A/B testing subject lines, offer timing, and channel mix) to uncover opportunities for driving increased campaign engagement and conversion
- Write creative briefs and manage production workflow. You will also design email headers via Canva and work with Figma files to ensure visual consistency
- Manage Calendly events to streamline customer scheduling and engagement
- Uncover opportunities for marketing campaign optimization across the customer lifecycle including segmentation and personalization, leveraging product usage data to trigger messages based on user behavior
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in complex marketing programs, including utilizing Validity for email deliverability and list hygiene
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in email and lifecycle marketing or related field within a SaaS, B2B tech, or restaurant technology environment
- 3+ years experience building marketing automation campaigns using top-tier tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Braze, Hubspot, Eloqua or similar
- Expertise in Salesforce Pardot, specifically building Engagement Studio campaigns and form handlers
- Ability to design assets using Canva and navigate Figma files
- Experience managing Calendly events and integrations
- Familiarity with Validity for monitoring sender reputation and deliverability
- Comfortable modifying and updating HTML and CSS email templates
- You have a growth mindset, viewing lifecycle marketing as a revenue engine; capable of designing and executing high-volume campaigns across Email, Push, and in-product messaging (IPM)
- You have demonstrated expertise or strong interest in AI/ML—using AI for research, copywriting, optimization, and analysis
- You are strongly analytical, using data to derive insights and produce regular reporting
- You have strategic lifecycle marketing program experience, including Upsell/Cross-sell, nurturing, and retention (loyalty, referrals, or churn-reduction) campaigns and automation
- You have outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—with the proven ability to collaborate with technical stakeholders and influence leadership
