Oliver James is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the integration and consolidation of digital workplace platforms as part of M&A activities. This role involves working at the intersection of product management, IT, and business transformation to drive smooth transitions for newly acquired companies and ensure a consistent employee experience across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for digital workplace platforms during M&A integrations (collaboration tools, productivity suites, communication platforms, identity management, etc.)
- Partner with IT, HR, Legal, and M&A teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver seamless platform consolidation
- Lead discovery and gap analysis of acquired company systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee integration projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and KPIs are met
- Define success metrics for adoption, user experience, and cost optimization
- Act as the voice of the employee, ensuring workplace technology enhances collaboration and productivity
- Communicate updates, risks, and dependencies clearly to executive stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Product Management, with experience managing IT or digital workplace platforms
- Solid technical understanding of SaaS platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, ServiceNow, Okta, or similar
- Strong program management skills – able to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams spanning IT, security, operations, and business units
- Prior involvement in M&A integration or large-scale platform consolidation strongly preferred
