ETFbook is a Swiss company providing data and analytics in the Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) space. They are seeking an experienced ETF Business Development Manager to lead client engagement and business growth in North America, focusing on cultivating relationships with institutional clients and driving new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow client relationships across the ETF ecosystem- including ETF promoters, asset managers, wealth managers, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders
- Drive new business opportunities through proactive outreach, targeted prospecting, and engagement (demos, workshops, presentations, events, campaigns)
- Lead onboarding processes and ensure seamless adoption of ETFbook’s platform, APIs, and custom solutions
- Act as a trusted ETFbook ambassador, advising clients on product innovation, data solutions, and market trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and tech teams to deliver tailored client solutions
- Monitor client engagement to identify challenges, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and deepen long-term partnerships
- Create high-quality client materials, including tailored presentations, reports, and training
- Stay on top of ETF market trends, regulations, and competition to position ETFbook strategically in client discussions
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of proven experience in the ETF ecosystem (account management, institutional sales, client services, or sales support) within the US market
- Strong knowledge of ETFs, including data & analytics, capital markets, and investment strategies
- Track record of engaging and influencing decision-makers across institutional finance
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and highly organized - thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required
- Master's degree or CFA designation a plus
