Hatch is a company that builds AI Customer Service Representatives for business communications. They are seeking a Product Operations Manager to facilitate collaboration between Product, Engineering, and other teams, focusing on optimizing product development processes and analytics infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end release process: coordination, communication, and rollout tracking
- Manage feature flagging workflows and ensure clean, predictable deployments
- Create visibility into what's shipping, when, and to whom—internally and externally
- Own and improve our analytics infrastructure to surface actionable usage data
- Partner with PMs to define metrics, instrument features, and track adoption
- Build dashboards and reporting that drive prioritization and measure impact
- Maintain internal product documentation so teams always have current, accurate information
- Coordinate updates to external help centers and release notes
- Explore automation opportunities to reduce manual documentation overhead
- Standardize and streamline product team workflows
- Manage the product tech stack—evaluate, implement, and drive adoption of tools
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and improve team efficiency
- Build and maintain AI-powered workflows that accelerate product team productivity
- Develop custom skills, prompts, and tooling (e.g., Claude Code, internal AI assistants) to automate repetitive tasks
- Champion AI adoption across Product and identify high-impact use cases for automation
Requirements:
- 3+ years in Product Operations, Program Management, or a similar role at a B2B SaaS company
- Experience managing release processes, feature flags, or deployment coordination
- Strong analytics skills—comfortable with tools like PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar
- Proven ability to build and improve processes from scratch
- Excellent documentation and communication skills; you make complex things clear
- Bias toward automation; you'd rather build a system than do something manually twice
- Enthusiasm for AI tools and a willingness to experiment with new ways of working
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) or building custom AI workflows
- Experience with LaunchDarkly or similar feature management platforms
- Familiarity with Notion, Confluence, or similar knowledge management tools
- Background in AI/ML products or fast-moving product environments
