They are seeking an Acute Clinical Project Management Director to lead the delivery of acute clinical domain for large scale Oracle Health implementations, ensuring high quality patient care and regulatory compliance through effective leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all acute clinical workstreams, including inpatient nursing, physicians, ancillary services, clinical documentation, orders, medication workflows, and clinical devices
- Direct and mentor clinical project managers, solution leads, analysts, informatics, and clinical SMEs supporting acute care delivery
- Serve as the primary liaison between inpatient clinical leadership, medical staff, nursing leadership, and IT teams
- Oversee future‑state acute clinical workflow design, system build review, configuration approval, and clinical design sign‑off
- Ensure inpatient workflows meet patient safety, regulatory, accreditation, and quality requirements
- Coordinate integration points between acute care and related domains (e.g., ambulatory referrals, scheduling, revenue cycle, pharmacy, lab)
- Partner with Oracle Health and acute‑focused third‑party vendors to ensure delivery quality, timeline adherence, and issue resolution
- Lead acute clinical testing efforts, including integrated testing, UAT, dress rehearsals, and clinical validation
- Collaborate with training and change management teams to ensure inpatient clinician readiness and adoption
- Lead acute go‑live planning, cutover coordination, at‑the‑elbow support, and command center participation
- Manage clinical risks, issues, and scope changes related to acute workflows in alignment with program governance
- Provide executive‑level status reporting and represent the acute clinical domain in governance forums
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) full end‑to‑end Oracle Health implementations in a Director‑level or senior clinical leadership role, from planning through go‑live and stabilization
- Demonstrated experience leading acute inpatient clinical delivery for large, complex healthcare organizations
- Deep understanding of inpatient clinical workflows, patient safety, and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to lead and influence physicians, nursing leadership, and acute operational stakeholders
- Experience managing clinical build, testing, and go‑live activities in hospital environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills in complex, multi‑stakeholder programs
