Sovos is a global provider of tax, compliance and trust solutions and services. The Customer Marketing Manager will support and coordinate the post-sale customer journey to drive engagement, increase value realization, reduce churn, and improve advocacy through various marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Increase the list of referenceable customers through outreach campaigns, incentivized invitations, and collaboration with sales and customer success
- Own the acquisition plan for generating customer reviews (e.g., G2 Crowd)
- Identify strong candidates for case studies in collaboration with product marketing, sales, and customer success teams, coordinating outreach to secure interviews and pitch advocacy opportunities
- Iterate on the customer advocacy plan with video testimonials and other innovative ways to showcase customers
- Manage time-sensitive customer reference requests from sales by identifying the right client pool and coordinating with customer success to secure participation
- Execute end-to-end seasonal client training webinars including promotional activities and speaker coordination
- Collaborate with product marketing and subject matter experts to develop content for and deploy quarterly customer newsletters
- Work with product, sales, customer success, and field teams, as well as subject matter experts, to plan and execute bi-annual product user groups and customer advisory board (CAB) meetings (virtual/in person)
- Partner with field marketing teams to source customers for regional and global events
- Build and manage the customer marketing calendar, taking a proactive approach to coordinating across teams and anticipating needs
- Partner with Demand Generation to identify and target the best customers for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues in marketing, sales, client operations, product management, and customer success
Requirements:
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS customer marketing experience
- Experience with reference programs and case study development
- Experience with or willingness to learn G2 Crowd and webinar platforms
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with a customer-centric approach
- Highly organized with strong project management, attention to detail, and communication skills; comfortable managing multiple deadlines
- Solution-oriented with an analytical approach to problem-solving
- Curious, resourceful, and service-oriented — you love making complex workflows simple and repeatable
- Creative mindset with a passion for engaging and motivating customers
