IT Business Analyst

Programmers.io is currently looking for an IT Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL and will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
• Act as a liaison between business users and development/technical teams
• Translate business needs into detailed requirement documents, user stories, and process flows
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to analyze data and validate business requirements
• Understand and review stored procedures, database structures, and data models
• Support data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting efforts
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, UAT support, and solution validation
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Solid understanding of stored procedures and database concepts
• Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases)
• Proven ability to bridge communication between business and technical teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
