SS&C Technologies is a global leader in software and services for the financial services and healthcare industries. The role involves identifying and closing new business opportunities in the Payer and Pharmacy Benefit Management market, building relationships with C-level executives, and executing strategic go-to-market plans.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across payer and PBM clients, including regional and national health plans
- Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan that aligns with SS&C Health’s platform capabilities and client needs
- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives in Operations, IT, and Pharmacy Services
- Position SS&C Health’s full suite of offerings including claims administration, member engagement, analytics, and AI-driven process automation to address critical operational challenges
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to craft proposals, pricing, and solution roadmaps that win
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline, forecast accurately, and exceed growth targets
- Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue and pipeline targets
- Drive new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience selling enterprise technology or SaaS solutions into payers or PBMs
- Proven track record of new-logo acquisition and consistent achievement of $5M+ annual sales targets
- Established relationships and a credible book of business within healthcare administration, claims processing, or analytics
- Deep understanding of payer operations, PBM workflows, and value-based care drivers
- Exceptional negotiation, storytelling, and executive communication skills
- A relentless drive to compete, close, and win
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% and live near a major airport
