The role involves leading project management efforts, collaborating with teams, and ensuring successful delivery of projects for major brands.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a mission to drive operational excellence across GMR's entire client portfolio
- Transform how teams work together and deliver results
- Work with world-class brands on virtual experiences and large-scale live events
- Plan and scope projects, allocate resources, manage timelines, and drive collaboration
- Deliver reports that matter and enable your team to do their best work
- Establish and maintain project and financial reporting procedures across the portfolio
- Assign projects to your team, matching project complexity with team member strengths
- Identify and remove impediments to project success for your team
- Drive stakeholder management and communications/working ways plan with all parties involved
- Work with cross-capability partners to find solutions to GMR business challenges
- Help drive collaboration and scale for growth opportunities
- Work with clients, partners, and vendors to establish best practice processes
- Partner with business leads to run day-to-day operations while planning and forecasting for the future
- Proactively identify at-risk projects and address issues as needed
- Create, review, and approve project estimates and SOWs before client sign-off
- Monitor project financials to identify potential overruns and take corrective action when needed
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in multi-channel project management- planning, estimating, scenario planning, and detailed scoping programs within an agency
- Establish and maintain project and financial reporting procedures across the portfolio – including scoping, resourcing, change management, and risk management
- Assign projects to your team, matching project complexity with team member strengths and identifying and removing impediments to project success for your team
- Comfortable driving stakeholder management and communications/working ways plan with all parties involved
- Natural leader who can manage up and down
- Built and scaled PM functions
- Comfortable with ambiguity but obsessed with clarity
- Delivered projects for Fortune 500 brands
- Work with all cross-capability partners to find solutions to the unique GMR business challenges
- Help drive collaboration and scale for growth opportunities
- Work with clients, partners, and vendors to establish best practice processes that meet client business needs
- Partner with business leads to run the day-to-day operations while planning and forecasting for the future
- Can dig into the dark corners to extract key information, assumptions, and risks to protect the agency and the integrity of the work
- Comfortable engaging in conflict resolution, ensuring the best quality work gets out the door
- Tracking learnings and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Proactively identify at-risk projects, address and escalate issues as needed
