The Senior Business Process Analyst will provide expertise in gathering business rules, developing process designs, and implementing process solutions while collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with business needs and healthcare requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Performs as a key member of business operations improvement team utilizing expert process improvement skills and strong understanding of business functions
- May lead project team assignments of moderate to complex scope requiring expert technical skills and good understanding of business functions. Coaches, mentors and trains project team members
- Responds under short turnaround times to process change requests and answers detailed questions on existing processes
- Identifies opportunities for potential ROI benefits through process designs
- Reviews existing processes and identifies opportunities for process improvements
- Effectively educates colleagues and/or leadership on correct operational processes
- Develops, delivers and maintains quality business process solutions to support short/long term business goals
- Recommends creative and innovative process solutions to business for technical problems
- Analyzes and identifies core business processes for application design
- Communicates issues openly, honestly, and timely with peers, management and leadership
- Prepare and present new initiatives to senior leadership to help obtain process change approval
- May work with vendors to implement process solutions via software solutions
- Participates in the definition, implementation, and execution of best practices
- Regular and reliable attendance is required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in a Business Analyst role or related Process Improvement experience
- If supporting TRICARE contract, must be a U.S. Citizen
- If supporting TRICARE contract, must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
- Experience with driving moderate to complex projects
- Experience with process flow documentation and design
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Visio skills
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or call center environment
- Experience in Tableau and SQL or other data management tools/languages
- PMP certification
