Blue Water Thinking is a consulting firm dedicated to supporting Federal clients, particularly in the healthcare sector. They are seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on analyzing healthcare program effectiveness and supporting operational execution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct program reviews to assess the quality and effectiveness of current and future VHA healthcare programs
- Measure program success, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives
- Assist in executing program operations to meet established goals and objectives
- Provide input on program evaluation and organizational improvement strategies
- Support the management of projects and programs to enhance productivity and performance
- Identify and assess program resources to support strategic planning and execution
- Develop and contribute to program reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with veteran healthcare needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Experience working in Public Health, Health Administration, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency in program analysis, evaluation, or healthcare operations
- Demonstrated experience conducting performance assessments and improvement planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and engaging stakeholders
- MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role
- BS/BA in Public Administration, Health Services Research, or related discipline
- Proven experience in a large-scale integrated healthcare system
- Familiarity with VHA systems, policies, and veteran outreach programs
- Experience supporting federal healthcare initiatives, especially within the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Knowledge of healthcare performance metrics and evaluation frameworks
