Model Link INC is a multi-model AI infrastructure platform that provides unified API access to leading AI models. They are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead customer acquisition for their API platform and establish sales processes while building strategic relationships with enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the foundational sales operating system including CRM, forecasting, pipeline reporting, and sales playbooks
- Define ideal customer profiles (ICPs), qualification frameworks, and technical sales messaging
- Build and execute the B2B outbound strategy, pipeline development, and account prioritization model
- Own enterprise customer acquisition end-to-end, from first contact through close, onboarding, and expansion
- Lead discovery calls, solution design, technical coordination, pilots, and contract negotiations
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with CTOs, founders, and executive decision-makers through consultative selling
- Develop deep understanding of Model Link’s API platform and AI model ecosystem to guide customers through integration and architecture decisions
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with AI platforms, SaaS companies, MSPs, and systems integrators
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering to support customer implementations and translate market feedback into product and GTM improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales within AI, SaaS, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or API-based solutions
- Demonstrated ability to build sales processes or GTM motions in early-stage or high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of APIs and AI technologies, and how they are applied in business use cases
- Experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from discovery through close
- Ability to lead consultative, solution-oriented sales conversations with technical and executive stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with high ownership and accountability
- Strong communication skills and executive presence with technical and non-technical audiences
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward execution, experimentation, and continuous improvement
