As a Principal Product Manager, you will shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Everbridge 360 Federal product, leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that address complex customer challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Support the long-term vision and strategy for the product portfolio in alignment with company objectives
- Lead strategic initiatives, including market expansion and platform innovation
- Anticipate market trends and identify disruptive opportunities to maintain competitive advantage
- Manage the development and execution of multiple product roadmaps across teams
- Ensure portfolio alignment with organizational goals, balancing short-term gains with long-term growth
- Monitor product development to ensure compliance with federal certifications (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA) and all applicable government and commercial contract requirements
- Drive alignment and collaboration across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams
- Act as the ultimate decision-maker for trade-offs, balancing business needs with customer expectations
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and industry trends
- Partner with customer-facing teams to gather insights and validate product hypotheses
- Establish and refine metrics to measure product performance and business impact
- Use data analytics to guide decisions and continuously optimize product offerings
- Present product strategies, updates, and outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Influence organizational priorities by articulating the value and impact of product initiatives
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a principal or equivalent leadership role
- Proven experience building and managing SaaS products in the U.S. federal technology marketplace, with a strong understanding of procurement processes, contracting, and government customer needs
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks including FedRAMP and DoD Impact Level Authorization process, with demonstrated experience guiding products through authorization and certification
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred)
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex product initiatives
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect product strategy to business outcomes
- Expertise in product management tools and methodologies, including Agile, Lean, and OKRs
- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in tools like Tableau, SQL, and business intelligence platforms
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing C-level stakeholders
- Deep passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering world-class customer experiences
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance if required
- Familiarity with Critical Event Management solutions is a plus
