Morae is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical Intake and Case Management implementation project. This short-term contract role involves managing the project strategy, advising on scope, and providing recommendations for the implementation of a Microsoft-based solution for legal intake and case management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Intake / Case Management implementation from planning through delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables
- Make recommendations based on experience to optimize project structure and workflow
- Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Track project progress, manage risks, and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders
- Utilize project management tools of choice (SmartSheet, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, etc.) to plan and monitor work
- Ensure adherence to best practices for project management and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing projects in legal, professional services, or technology environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft-based solutions (experience with Litera Foundation 365 or similar legal intake/case management tools is a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while collaborating effectively with remote and on-site teams
- Experience making strategic recommendations and providing guidance on project structuring
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable but not mandatory
