About this role
Metric DCX is a leading mechanical contractor specializing in high-performance, mission-critical facilities, and they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee delivery of mechanical systems on a large-scale data center project.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all mechanical scopes including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance
- Coordinate with GC, design, and owner teams to ensure quality delivery
- Review drawings and resolve technical or field issues
- Support commissioning and turnover processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience managing mechanical systems on large commercial or mission-critical projects
- Strong understanding of data center mechanical systems (chilled water, CRAC/CRAH, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- PE or PMP
