CFA Institute is the global leader in investment excellence and ethics. The Project Manager, People and Culture plays a critical role in ensuring continuity of operations and delivering impactful, global initiatives that support the People & Culture Division.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as project manager for projects and initiatives by organizing team planning, administration, and reporting to ensure successful project execution
- Develop and maintain project timelines, including identification of milestones, and track, assign and maintain clear action items and exception reporting
- Drive change management activities for the P&C initiatives that will assist with adoption. Liaise with the centralized ePMO, internal communications team, and change management function as appropriate
- Serve as the primary internal and external point of contact for initiatives with project-related vendors and other third parties Oversee timelines and external vendor partnerships including management of vendor payments/invoices
- Support the development and maintenance of project budgets, monitor variances, and take timely corrective action as needed; coordinate long-range planning and forecasting activities for the division
- Provide project reporting for project stakeholders and senior leadership. Support the creation of reporting for Senior Leadership and the Board of Governors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven project management experience, including managing multiple complex initiatives, IT/Software projects, intake processes, scheduling, and use of standard PM tools
- Experience managing budgets and monitoring variances
- Strong collaboration skills across teams and levels
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong time‑management capabilities and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Knowledge of change‑management principles
