Expel is a company focused on optimizing marketing operations through technology. They are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations & Analytics to architect their marketing technology ecosystem and drive operational excellence, enabling the revenue engine to run efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem that drives revenue growth
- Build seamless integrations between Marketo, Salesforce, and 6sense, creating data architectures that enable sophisticated measurement and automation
- Design scalable data models, automated workflows, and ETL pipelines that support advanced lead lifecycle management and account-based strategies
- Develop attribution models and measurement frameworks that connect marketing investments to pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Enhance ABX strategies through improved data integration and account insights in collaboration with Revenue Marketing
- Create executive dashboards and conduct deep-dive analyses on funnel performance
- Build predictive models for lead scoring and account prioritization
- Establish data governance frameworks that ensure accuracy across all systems while maintaining GDPR and CCPA compliance
- Partner with Strategic Finance on pipeline forecasting and marketing mix modeling
- Lead technology evaluation and implementation, manage vendor relationships, and develop comprehensive documentation for self-service analytics
- Train and enable teams on marketing technology platforms and best practices
Requirements:
- 7+ years of marketing operations experience within enterprise SaaS environments
- 5+ years developing and executing ABX strategies including account segmentation, personalized campaigns, and sales alignment
- A proven track record of building and scaling marketing operations functions with demonstrated pipeline impact
- Expert-level Marketo administration
- Advanced Salesforce proficiency including API capabilities and complex integrations
- Deep experience with 6sense or similar ABX platforms for intent data modeling and account orchestration
- Strong SQL and Python/R programming skills enable complex data analysis and automation
- Knowledge of multi-touch attribution methodologies, ETL/ELT tools, and iPaaS platforms like Workato
- Systems thinking to design complex architectures
