Responsibilities:
- Define product roadmap for trading workflows: onboarding, funding, market data, order entry, execution, positions, reporting, and admin tools
- Translate business goals into epics/user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and ensure alignment across engineering and stakeholders
- Own requirements for real-time trading UX and system behavior: latency expectations, failure modes, edge cases, and operational workflows
- Define end-to-end flows that cover both customer-facing and internal operational tooling (support, compliance, reconciliation)
- Partner with engineering on API/data contracts and feature flags; drive release readiness and go-live plans
- Work closely with Compliance/Security to ensure product features meet regulatory and audit requirements (audit trails, approvals, retention, and permissions)
- Ensure surveillance/risk hooks are considered in product requirements (alerts, thresholds, review queues)
- Conduct competitor/market research across brokerages, exchanges, and trading venues; continuously benchmark features and UX
- Gather feedback from internal users, pilots, and customers; run structured discovery and iterate
- Define product KPIs (conversion, activation, latency, uptime-impacting defects, and user satisfaction)
- Drive UAT, coordinate testing, and ensure issues are triaged and resolved with urgency
Requirements:
- 5+ years product management experience, preferably in fintech/trading platforms
- Demonstrated experience shipping complex products involving real-time data and transaction flows
- Strong ability to write clear PRDs/user stories, acceptance criteria, and to lead cross-functional execution
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable with metrics, instrumentation, and making data-driven decisions
- Product experience at/with firms like TD Ameritrade, Robinhood, Coinbase, or similar trading platforms
- Familiarity with Broker-dealer (BD) and Transfer Agent (TA) operational concepts, and how they affect product design and workflows
- Experience defining admin/ops tooling for regulated environments (case management, audit logs, approvals, and reconciliation dashboards)
