The Lifecycle Marketing Product Planner will support the planning and delivery of lifecycle trigger communications and portfolio engagement programs, collaborating with marketing, product, and technology teams to enhance customer engagement and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Support strategy, planning, and execution needs related to credit card engagement efforts
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to implement and deploy lifecycle triggers
- Assist with the creation, coordination, and delivery of multi-channel trigger communications
- Manage project timelines and help ensure creative deliverables are aligned with business goals
- Facilitate coordination across multiple stakeholders, including marketing, product, and tech
- Apply business analysis skills to identify opportunities and optimize communication strategies
- Operate in a pod-based Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and reporting
- Monitor progress and identify issues or blockers, escalating where necessary to ensure delivery
- Help drive continuous improvement efforts by questioning the status quo and proposing enhancements
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across documentation, planning tools, and dashboards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services
- Experience in product planning, performance marketing, and/or marketing operations
- Project coordination and/or business analysis experience preferred
- Previously experience supporting trigger email campaigns
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience using tools like Jira and QuickBase is a plus
- Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position
- Experience working across cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and technology
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and pod-based team structures
- Demonstrated success in supporting and scaling trigger-based or lifecycle marketing programs
- Analytical mindset with exposure to data tools, segmentation, and test-and-learn frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence, coordinate, and inspire action among diverse stakeholders
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
