BCD Travel is a market leader in travel management, helping people and companies travel smart and achieve more. They are seeking a Senior Marketing & Communications Strategy Project Manager for their Aerospace & Defense vertical to lead project planning, execution, and delivery across various initiatives, enhance brand presence, and drive customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across sales, marketing, and customer-facing initiatives
- Develop project timelines, track milestones, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, Communications, and external partners
- Oversight of A&D Client Forum and key industry events
- Manage A&D vertical business plan and key projects
- Liaison with Sales to develop & maintain an A&D sales pipeline for new business
- Partner with Marketing to create new material highlighting BCD’s value position in this space
- Create and maintain project materials such as presentations, briefs, communication plans, benchmarking materials, newsletters, social media posts, website updates, etc
- Provide education and collateral for sales and retention teams
- Analyze campaign and program performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and increased ROI
- Leverage knowledge of existing A&D customer base via A&D Program Management Workgroup
- Support customer-specific travel initiatives, retention strategies, and operational improvement projects, A&D vertical roadmap initiatives, etc
- Track progress on all initiatives
- Develop and execute social media plans aligned to marketing objectives and customer engagement goals
- Manage content calendars, draft posts, and collaborate with design resources to deliver high-quality assets
- Track and report social media metrics, engagement performance, trends, and competitive insights
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Several years of experience in project management, sales/marketing operations, or program coordination
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital trends
- Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the travel industry (corporate travel, travel management companies, suppliers, or hospitality) preferred
