DSI Applications Engineer -Remote- Southeast Region - US

JBT Marel is a global leader in food and beverage technology, dedicated to transforming the future of food. The DSI Applications Engineer will work closely with customers at their food production facilities to gather requirements, assess production lines, and improve processes using portioning system software.

Responsibilities:

• You will work directly with customers on site at their food production facility
• Gather and prioritize customer requirements while on site, assess customer production lines, and provide feedback for process improvement
• Locate necessary information and resources, explore options, identify a solution, and manipulate the portioning system software to meet the customer's needs
• Measure data, analyze trends, and communicate results.The applications engineer coordinates customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs

Requirements:

• BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science
• 1+ years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles
• The ability to creatively translate customer requirements into practical applications
• Must live or be willing to move to the following states: Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee
• You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
