Acuity Inc. is a market-leading industrial technology company that focuses on innovative products and services. They are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to provide critical support to the HR Information Systems team, driving operational excellence and leading initiatives to enhance HR technology capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Director of HR Information Systems, managing special projects and initiatives that align with organizational priorities and enhance HR technology capabilities
- Collaborate closely with HR stakeholders to analyze and interpret business process requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions and system configurations
- Lead the establishment and ongoing operations of the HRIS Project Management Office (PMO), including defining governance standards, methodologies, priorities, resource allocation, and portfolio oversight for HRIS-related projects
- Oversee project execution across the HRIS portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, budget adherence, and alignment with enterprise technology standards
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination between HR, IT, finance, and other departments to drive system optimizations, integrations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for HRIS enhancements, evaluating emerging technologies and recommending solutions to improve data integrity, user experience, and operational efficiency
- Provide guidance on change management, training, and adoption strategies for new systems and processes
- Monitor HRIS performance metrics, and support data-driven decision-making and compliance
- Foster strong vendor relationships and manage contracts related to HR technology tools and services
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices in HRIS project management and solution delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prosci, SHRM, or HRIP) preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in HRIS management, HR technology, project management, or related roles within enterprise environments
- Proven track record of leading complex projects, preferably in HR systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar)
- Strong understanding of HR processes (e.g., talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, performance management) and how they integrate with technology solutions
- Experience establishing or managing a PMO or similar governance function
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering results
- Experience with HR data analytics, reporting tools, and process automation
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and HR compliance requirements
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and enterprise IT governance frameworks
