Hubbell Incorporated is a leading global manufacturer of critical infrastructure solutions. The Business Development Manager will drive growth by establishing partnerships with telecom carriers and contractors while supporting field sales with technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of telecom market trends and technologies
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with Tier I carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Lumen, Hawaiian Telecom) and top turf contractors
- Support field sales with technical expertise, product training, and educational demonstrations
- Track key projects from inception to completion using Salesforce and Power BI
- Stay current with industry standards (ATIS, TIA, BICSI) and communicate updates to the sales team
- Represent Hubbell at major trade shows and conferences (NATE, PEG, AMOC, Connect(X))
- Work with OEMs and engineering firms to secure Hubbell product specifications in new designs and projects
- Plan and execute strategic contractor events, regional meetings, and industry trade shows
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Power BI
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven
- Valid driver's license
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Communications
- Experience in electrical or telecom markets
