PACK Power, LLC is a company founded to meet the growing demand for specialized High Voltage and Medium Voltage expertise within the Renewable and Utility industries. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for project set-up, implementation, and management of nation-wide electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Review initial project opportunity requests for proposals (RFPs) and coordinate with Estimators in the preparation of bid proposals to clients
- Draft and review contract documents, negotiate contract Exhibits and Terms & Conditions
- Understand and manage all contractual requirements for projects
- Review and resolve any contract disputes, draft and manage Change Orders when applicable
- Coordinate engineering and design activities and review engineering specifications and deliverables for adherence to project requirements
- Manage project submittals and requests for information (RFIs)
- Coordinate with project operations team to plan and execute projects on schedule and on budget
- Draft and review subcontracts, purchase orders, and work orders
- Lead meetings with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders
- Track and report on project quality, project safety, project progress, and project cost
- Coordinate with Field Operations personnel to monitor project progress and confirm that work is in conformance to contract requirements
- Manage financial tracking and reporting activities across all projects
- Drive consistency and accuracy in Project Reporting by Project Managers
- Recognize, analyze, and mitigate project risks
- Perform quantity takeoffs and various other estimating tasks as assigned
- Mentor and train Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred
- 7+ Years of relevant experience in Construction Management and/or Project Management roles
- Must be hard-working, passionate, inquisitive, and have the willingness to perform any task that is required(even if not listed above)
- Ability to travel up to 25% for site visits, project meetings, and/or contract negotiations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and critical data analysis skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite, Project Management Software (Procore, HCSS, etc), and/or Project Scheduling Software (MS Project, Primavera, etc)
- Demonstrate expertise with Construction Project Management skills and concepts including estimating, contract negotiation, engineering management, workforce management, equipment management, subcontractor/vendor management, project accounting, and project scheduling
- Knowledge and experience with medium and/or high voltage substations, collection systems and/or transmission lines preferred
