Mindbody is a company focused on enhancing wellness through technology. The Group Product Manager will lead the product strategy and roadmap for a unified CRM platform, overseeing the development and integration of tools to improve client acquisition and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and communicate the vision for a unified CRM platform aligned with Playlist’s broader growth ecosystem
- Drive roadmap prioritization to evolve messaging automation, AI chatbot, and sales pipeline tools into a cohesive solution
- Balance platform investments that improve long-term retention with near-term delivery of high-impact features
- Execution & Delivery Excellence
- Directly lead a dedicated squad responsible for building and launching a next-generation CRM platform
- Oversee the integration of existing point solutions into a seamless end-to-end user experience
- Collaborate closely with engineering and platform teams to ensure deep integration across the Playlist product ecosystem
- Champion Growth-Oriented Product Development
- Leverage insights from customer behavior, lifecycle data, and market needs to guide product direction
- Develop solutions that improve client acquisition, trial conversion, and long-term retention
- Ensure CRM capabilities create a frictionless experience for both business owners and their end customers
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Product Managers to navigate complex product challenges
- Encourage creative problem solving and strategic thinking to improve automation and sales tools
- Maintain a high bar for product craft and execution across team initiatives
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with Go-To-Market teams to package, price, and position CRM capabilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful launch and adoption of new platform features
- Align with broader product teams to ensure CRM capabilities are embedded across the Playlist ecosystem
Requirements:
- Have built and scaled impactful products from 0 → 1 and beyond within consumer or SaaS environments
- Enjoy operating as a player-coach — balancing hands-on product execution with team leadership
- Can define and drive a strategic vision across a growth ecosystem or platform
- Have experience improving client lifecycle performance and addressing funnel leakage across acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Know how to bring multiple product solutions together into a unified and seamless customer experience
- Bring strong business and GTM acumen to decision making, including pricing, packaging, and positioning
- Are comfortable leading through ambiguity and navigating complex product challenges
- Have experience collaborating deeply with cross-functional teams across product and platform surfaces
- Can think end-to-end — from identifying customer opportunity through product design to distribution and revenue impact
- Have a track record of mentoring Product Managers and raising the quality bar across a team
- Stay close to emerging technologies such as Generative AI and apply them thoughtfully to solve real-world user problems
- Value collaboration, iteration, and feedback as core to building effective growth products
- Prefer shipping iterative improvements that drive measurable impact to retention and engagement
- 7+ years of product management experience with a proven record of shipping impactful products
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing Senior Product Managers
- Experience building and scaling growth-focused products within Consumer or SaaS companies
- Deep understanding of client growth lifecycles and marketing systems
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience working across the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery
- Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI into product experiences
