Ravyx CA is seeking a Sales Account Manager for Inside Supermarket Systems Sales who will manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of independent grocers and smaller retail customer accounts. This role focuses on driving recurring revenue, customer retention, and strategic growth by collaborating with various internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for system upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of independent grocers and smaller retail accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner and trusted advisor
- Maintain a structured communication cadence to strengthen partnerships, proactively identify customer needs, drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and support long-term revenue growth
- Conduct Annual Business Reviews (ABRs) to assess performance, review service levels, discuss strategic goals, identify expansion opportunities, and manage maintenance renewals to ensure high retention and recurring revenue stability
- Develop and execute annual account plans focused on retention, renewal security, competitive defense, and revenue expansion
- Generate accurate quotes, proposals, and renewal documentation while actively managing pipeline activity in Salesforce (CRM)
- Monitor system lifecycle milestones, aging equipment, and campaign initiatives to proactively recommend upgrades and replacements
- Achieve assigned revenue, renewal, and activity targets while providing accurate forecasting and account updates to Sales Leadership
- Address customer inquiries and service concerns promptly, collaborating with internal teams to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation while communicating key account updates internally
- Preserve confidential information and follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience supporting independent retailers or grocery accounts preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to manage a high-volume account portfolio
- Occasional travel for customer visits (as needed)
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
