HCA Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider committed to community service and employee development. They are seeking a Business Analyst to identify and execute initiatives that enhance automation and improve revenue cycle workflow, collaborating with stakeholders to drive efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update product and development information and act as an expert internally and externally supported by development
- Assist in identification, documentation and evaluation of business needs and development efforts
- Work with other business units to understand automation solution feasibility and limitations
- Provide Tier 2 product support for production automations
- Manage and communicate business implications of technology decisions and ensure appropriate approval of any requested changes to ensure solutions achieve desired results
- Lead the team in daily scrum meetings using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Assist management in prioritization of work efforts/tasks and ensuring risks are communicated appropriately
- Participate in strategic design and implementation of solutions in the automation portfolio
- Communicate the progress of projects through clear, concise, and accurate roadmaps, business metrics, presentations, and status updates
- Shadow and learns various revenue cycle job functions in order to determine potential workflow enhancements
- Assists in business case development for new ideas, understanding and including technology, software and labor cost where applicable
- Assists with educational materials to communicate changes
- Maps out current state and future state using software such as Visio
- Serves as liaison between Site Lead, SMEs and SSC team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Statistics/Analytics, Information Science, Engineering or similar field of study
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience required, preferably with Parallon
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with data and technology
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) software development
- Must have strong analytical, written, and presentation skills and the application of quantitative analysis techniques as applied in a revenue cycle environment
- Familiarity with RPA tools, database and data modeling
- UiPath certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green-Belt certification or equivalent experience
- Experience within healthcare operations
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
