Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential, and they are seeking a Manager of Solution Engineering to lead a highly skilled team of Solution Engineers for the Federal Civilian Business. This role involves managing a team, collaborating with sales teams, and strategizing on how to navigate sales cycles to close business.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a team of solution engineers who serve as our core product introduction, evaluation and education experts
- Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets, our goals and ensure relationships are built
- Work alongside revenue leaders to set the go-to-market strategy for territory
- Effectively escalate customer feedback and product obstacles/gaps to represent the team’s needs to executive staff
- Interpret complex problems, create simple solutions and collaborate closely with prospects, channel partners and our sales team to deliver winning solutions
- Collaborate and maintain a close working relationship with product, engineering, sales, marketing and services
- Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates and managing the interview process
- Act as a player/coach working with your team on and delivering compelling presentations to customers and prospects
Requirements:
- 10+ years of industry experience in a pre-sale role
- Experience in Retail/CPG with data platforms, CDP/CRM, DWH/Lakehouse, Analytics/BI related projects or sales
- Experience in co-selling/joint pipeline operations with partner ecosystems (cloud/consulting/SI/ISV)
- Experience in proposals from the perspective of data governance/security/compliance (e.g., personal data, access management, data sharing)
- Experience in proposals/negotations with C-level and LOB (marketing/commerce/SCM/MD/CRM etc.) executives
