The Lead Business Process Analyst will provide functional leadership for business analysis activities, ensuring that solutions align with business needs and goals through collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis workstreams by setting approach, ensuring documentation quality, and supporting delivery of agreed outcomes
- Mentor and coach business analysts, providing day-to-day guidance and peer leadership
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives
- Participate in application design and testing to confirm requirements are met
- Develop functional and technical requirements documentation
- Coordinate and execute timely systems testing
- Create and maintain business process models and training materials
- Monitor project progress, adjusting as needed to meet timelines and budgets
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across IT and business teams
Requirements:
- High School diploma and 5+ years in Business Analysis, preferably within the Supply Chain industry
- Familiarity with Tier 1 WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan WMS), customized WMS and OMS solutions, and related IT systems, including system integrations
- Hands-on experience executing direct API testing activities, including validating REST API requests/responses, payloads, and error handling against business requirements
- Working knowledge of system integration concepts and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML)
- Strong leadership capabilities, including delegation, goal setting, and team development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; willingness to travel up to 20%
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience with large-scale system implementations, OMS/WMS migrations, or process improvement initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in business process modeling tools and documentation standards
- Familiarity with Agile or other modern project management methodologies
- Hands-on use of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) to validate integrations and collaborate with QA or integration teams on defect identification and resolution
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
