Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a PHY System Modeling Engineer who is hands-on with firmware development and post-silicon activities. The role involves developing PHY architectural models, implementing and validating PHY calibration and training algorithms, and running system simulations to correlate with silicon results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a PHY architectural model in SystemC or other acceptable languages
- Implement and validate PHY calibration, adaptation, and training algorithms
- Perform scripting, data collection, and analysis
- Run system simulations and correlate with silicon results
Requirements:
- Only GC or USC can apply
- PHY system modeling engineer who is hands-on with firmware development and post-silicon activities
- Candidate should ideally be able to develop a PHY architectural model in SystemC, but other languages are also acceptable
- Require exceptional firmware skills with proven ability to implement and validate PHY calibration, adaptation, and training algorithms
- Work involves good amount of scripting, data collection and analysis
- Candidate should be able to run system simulations and correlate with silicon results
- Essential to have strong debugging skills
- Strong PHY experience with SerDes/DDR background preferred
- Strong coding skills in C, SystemC, Matlab, System Verilog and Python preferred
- Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) would be beneficial
