Oktana is a company that helps businesses prepare for AI by leveraging various technologies. They are seeking a Sales Account Executive specialized in Custom Software Development to identify and close new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in custom software development
- Clearly articulate the company’s CSD capabilities and value proposition
- Lead discovery sessions with clients to define technical needs and roadmap alignment
- Partner with Delivery and Engineering teams to design technically feasible and business-valuable solutions
- Negotiate contracts, SOWs, and scope changes with clients
- Build long-term strategic relationships with clients as a trusted partner
- Track pipeline, revenue forecasts, and deal status in CRM
- Collaborate with Marketing to improve messaging, case studies, and client references
Requirements:
- Proven experience selling custom software development services, product engineering, or software consulting
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), Agile/DevOps practices, and modern software architectures
- Experience selling solutions such as: Web and mobile applications, Cloud-native systems, Legacy modernization/migration, AI/ML integration, Staff augmentation or dedicated engineering teams
- Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise organizations
- Ability to engage and sell to decision-makers, including C-level executives
- Penchant for detail and excellent written communication skills
- Passion to ensure a positive experience for our customers and team
- No fear of technology or working in a dynamic atmosphere
- Experience working with offshore or nearshore delivery teams
